Friday night pan fried walleye and homemade potato salad with coleslaw . Enjoyed a Spotted Cow at the friendly bar while waiting for the great cook staff. My new go to!

Great Dinner Worth the Wait

My wife and I were up in Door County for our anniversary. The Nightingale was recommended to us Saturday afternoon(about 4:30pm) by one of the sommeliers at Door Peninsula Winery. We showed up at 7pm and got a front row parking spot, but an hour+ long wait for a dinner seating. However, Julie and Lori at the bar were awesome and efficiently mixing great Old Fashions for us! Dinner was more of the same, GREAT service from Peggy and an excellent recommendation for the Prime Rib. It was fantastic and my wife's broiled salmon was great too! The total bill for the evening floored me...I can't Imagine what it would have been further up the Peninsula!!! Well done Nightingale, we'll be back!

Prime Rib is common, from Shula's to Outback Steakhouse but none of them, none, come close to the Prime Rib at Nightingale! I have grown to judge all Prime Rib against the 'Gales and haven't found a better meal... first time in mid 1980's and almost yearly since. BTW do a Blue Cheese Iceberg wedge with it. In the old days you could get this for lunch, so take the uneaten portion home with you and ask your server for some extra bread to make those Prime Rib sandwiches!

Very nice, old time supper club. Large bar area and even larger dining room. Drinks were great and the Monday night Lobster special was fantastic. Great BBQ ribs too. Served on a sizzling platter which kept the entree and potato nice and hot.

We eat here every time we come to Door County (3-4 times a year) and it's always perfect. Best prime rib on the planet, and the crab and asparagus soup is a life-changing experience. Andrea had lobster recently and said it was the best she'd ever eaten. Don't miss this gem!

we are from chicago and have been going here for years. we make the drive for the prime rib special on thursday nights and always stay at the best western. they give you coupons for 2 for 1 drinks. we were told about the place and absolutely love it. the prime rib is delicious and have found no other place that can compare to it. even here in chicago, where some of the best food can be found. you will not be disappointed.

We are from the Chicago area and was told about this place years ago. We will go for the fabulous prime rib on Thurs. nights. It is well worth the trip. Looking forward to going again. you will not be disappointed. Each time we go, the service is excellent and the prime rib is phenominal. Stay at the Best Western and they have coupons which is even a better deal!!!!!

Went there on a Saturday night, thinking Prime Rib would have been the special. It wasn't, but had the Prime Rib sandwich... Yummo!!! There was an error made on our drink order, but the server was more than happy to correct it. Plan to go again soon! Hopefully it will be on a Thursday...
